One-on-One Instruction.
[Add language about working remotely.]
What are sessions like? The goal of instruction is to provide the skills and support for individuals to be as independent as possible in the academic experience, personal life, or professional realm. To begin instruction, individuals share strengths and challenges, learning styles, and goals for working together.
From clear objectives based on needs, Andrea is able to customize strategies and skills that will work with an individual learner’s strengths. Skills are taught and then applied to current work, so that the student is able to see the application of the strategy in an authentic way, while also getting a jumpstart on current work.
Sessions revolve around the needs of the individual, and are based on building and strengthening academic skills. For example, what may have been a goal to work on time management initially, may shift to test-preparation, if it becomes a more pressing skill to learn because of an upcoming test. Through practice and support, Andrea builds students’ skills over time to make them feel more positive, and productive, and ultimately, more independent and confident.
Frequency.
For successful outcomes, it is recommended to meet a minimum of 4 sessions to build understanding, practice, and application of skills.
Dedication.
Progress and success comes from the willingness to practice and apply strategies in and out of coaching sessions. These skills are not mastered overnight; they are built over time and through guided practice
Some questions when considering one-on-one instruction.
How ready and willing am I to learn new skills and strategies?
How often do I want to work with Andrea? Once a week? Twice a week? Or more?
How long do I want to receive help? 4 weeks? 2 months? More?
Video Tutorials.
[Suggestion: Make this more narrative—speak to the audience about why this would be a good option of them, i.e. “if committing to one-on-one instruction isn’t right for you, then video tutorials is a flexible way to start working towards your learning goals.”]
Engaging short instructional videos that teach concrete step-by-step strategies. The videos can be purchased as individual stand-alone strategies, or in combined packages.

Workshops.
[Suggestion: I wonder if there’s a different top level description/title for these services? “Presentations” is so general and feels one-way (talking at people) rather than engaging in the two-way learning/interaction I saw in your UVM group training vid. Something to discuss.]
